Virtual Scrapbooking

Well Sale-a-bration has ended for this year, good thing Stampin' Up! has so many great things going on all the time!

Participated in the SCS Virtual  Scrapbook Weekend with a theme of Leap Year; here are a few thing I have been working on:

 It actually started with a MINI VSBN a few weeks ago.the kids have taken so many pictures of the dog or the dog sneaks into the pictures of the kids.... well you get the idea
It was a 4 x 4 Challenge
1.) The pictures: I came across the image of the dog with that little St Patrick's day hat on which made me think of spring...I used the four images of the family dog,because the kids have taken more pictures of our dog than of each other the over the years...so thankful for digital
2) The sketch: was a great starting point but rather than use hearts for my four elements I used Pearls in the corners; because I think pearls are SO sweet!
3) Journaling: I used the text box to talk about dog/man's best friend- must be right the kids have taken so many pics of the dog!
4) Use four decorative elements- I am not quite sure what was meant by decorative elements. The pearls, the punches, layers of paper, the type of font used?

 The second one is based on the song Froggy Went a' Courting all the images at the bottom right are from Christmas Village and Furry Folks Digital Downloads

Best Buds is from a challenge called Add One More and I added the Banner across the bottom

The theme for my Tic-Tac-Toe board was Childhood Games

The Spring Forward Challenge was to have the title spring forward across the two pages

 I made the Leap of Faith page about the Waterwalk because it is a journey for those who do the walk, and prayers and faith that we will come together to make sure we have clean water for the future generations

The Leaping to Conclusions Challenge was great fun. The point is to create a title that will cause the viewer to Leap to a conclusion that is proven wrong in the images and journaling

I actually did two for the Leap in Time Challenge

It was a bit hectic here this weekend, so I made the first one with the kids and then made the second one later in the evening thinking I had missed one. That was when I made the one with my husband

Yep I did notice the years on there, I left them as a reminder of how glad I am that I made this using MDS, and that I can go back in and very simply change it! BTW they have extended the 30 Free Trail Version so if you have not tried it, don't miss out!

This one was a real challenge for me, Leap Math was a recipe
3-use 3 flowers
6- use six patterned papers
4- your choice
5- use 5 buttons

The Leap for Joy Challenge was to have something that started with each letter of the word JOY, and something that would make someone Leap for Joy.

J =  jacks
O = Outlined Occasions
Y = Yellow
I called it Joy Depends on the Toy
